Almost Like Maria Project

The RENCI EDS group is providing technical data curation support for this NSF-funded RAPID (Rapid Response Research) research project. The overarching goal of the project is to bring together data of different types into a coherent framework for use in the study of the effects of natural disasters, in this instance Hurricane Maria on the island of Puerto Rico in 2017, on water availability and quality and to better understand the extended public health effects. In addition to providing technical expertise, the project will also leverage the Hydroshare project.
